These months my work is the special guest on the balcony of the central hall in Museum Arnhem. It is the thirtieth episode of the Gelders Balkon exhibition series. This presentation shows works of the past three years. Very special and interesting to combine work that has not been seen before. Thanks to the generosity of the lenders!
Sunday 5th February (3 pm) there is an artist talk. Of course, the Sieger White Award 2016 and monograph the pink elephant will be featured in this conversation. You are most welcome!

A duo exhibition together with Jannemarein Renout at gallery Bart!
Neel Diekema, Justin Prang, Roos Ticheler and Sabine Winters and I worked very hard in creating this edition of the GET FED art fair. After months of preparation it is finally time for the second edition of the GET FED art fair, and we are happy to invite you!
In cooperation with Sonsbeek International and ArtEZ, GET FED Foundation creates a versatile and fascinating overview of the contemporary art scene, with Arnhem as a midpoint between the Randstad and the Ruhr areas.
By presenting 25 artists from the Netherlands and Germany, GET FED art fair acquaintes the audience with a current and diverse range of contemporary art, from young to old and from painting to performance artist. For the wallet there is also something for everyone: a wall full of moderately priced works makes clear that art is accessible to everyone.
GET FED art fair will be opened on Thursday, June 2nd at 19:00 by Saskia Bak, Director of Museum Arnhem.
Welcome!

Great news!
I am awarded with this year’s Sieger White Award from the Prince Bernhard Culturefund!
A few months ago the news came suddenly out of the blue. For a while I had to silently enjoy it, but now it’s official and true!
This scholarship is presented for talented artists under the age of 35 from the Eastern region of the Netherlands and consists of a sum of € 25,000 meant for a publication and a solo exhibition at a prominent gallery in the Netherlands.
Sieger-White Award
The Sieger White Award is named after the artist couple Fred Sieger (1902-1999) and Helen Sieger-White (1911-2010). The scholarship is awarded every two years and supports artists in the field of painting in the broadest sense of the word. The rewarded artist from the Eastern Netherlands region should have a modest oeuvre. The grant is intended as additional support for more publicity for his or her work. Previous winners are Omar Koubâa and Kim van Norren.

The Sieger White Award will be presented on Saturday, November 26th, 2016 at Reuten Gallery in Amsterdam. My work will be on show in the gallery from November 19th until December 23rd, 2016.
After the unexpected success of the Amsterdam Art Fair 2015 in the former Citroën garage in Amsterdam, the second edition will take place at the Amsterdam Museumplein – the very heart of Dutch culture – from 25 till 29 of May.
Amsterdam Art Fair focuses at private collectors and art lovers. Especially for this occasion several galleries will make a solo presentation and take the opportunity to show surprising debutants. I am happy to announce that my work will be on show at Reutengalerie (booth 19), as part of debutants section.
Hope to see you there!
